Seniors’ Corner

Rogersville  /  Acadian Pride  /  Seniors’ Corner

The Greater Region of Rogersville has much to offer retirees and seniors. Meeting facilities, golden age clubs, social activities and games, recreational outdoor activities and even exercise classes are all within arm’s reach for those who want to take advantage of them. In addition, several groups give you the opportunity to get involved by offering your services as a volunteer in an atmosphere of pleasure and mutual aid. If you fall into this category, the following list may appeal to you:

Club d’âge d’or de Rogersville
Club d’âge d’or d’Acadieville
Royal Canadian Legion
Community centres (Acadieville, Collette, Pleasant Ridge)
Games and leagues (darts, cards, pool, washer pitching, bowling, miniature golf, etc.)
Exercise classes at the Résidence Ancienne Jeunesse
Exercise classes at the Centre communautaire d’Acadieville
Region surrounded by ideal locations to hunt and fish

There are all sorts of activities year-round. Consult the community calendar to keep up to date on community events.

To be noted is that golden age clubs sell membership cards to anyone interested in joining. Membership in these groups gives you access to certain services and exclusive member discounts. For more information, contact managers Robéa Cormier (Acadieville, 775-6413) or Ernestine Richard (Rogersville, 775-2583).
